	How long have the members of staff been at Creative Playschool?

	All staff have been employed for at least 10 years, insuring consistency and intimate loving relationships with the children.

	What is the staff/child ratio?

	According to ECC regulations, a 1:10 ratio is necessary. Here at Creative Playschool, we are licensed for 23 children and have three qualified staff present.

	Does Creative Playschool have adequate outdoor play area?

	Creative Playschool has a wonderful outdoor space, consisting of a large sand box area, various swings/climbing apparatus, shaded areas, blacktop areas for ride-on toys, as well as a covered deck with child- sized picnic tables for outdoor lunch and snacks. The children are brought out as much as possible.

	Will Creative Playschool prepare my child for kindergarten?

	Our curriculum consists of all the preschool skills necessary for kindergarten success. All learning activities are age-appropriate. We offer weekly themes and daily projects.

	My child is somewhat shy and hesitant about attending preschool. Why is your center better able to handle such a child?

	Creative Playschool is a small intimate center. Your child will feel comfortable and thrive in such a small setting. We only deal with the preschool ages, and our combined experience (as mothers and teachers) helps us look at an individual and better assess how to make the experience a positive, nurturing one.

	Do the children have any outside learning experiences?

	Here at Creative Playschool , we offer monthly field trips supporting the weekly themes. We encourage parental involvement, always having 2 or 3 chaperones taking part. We hire a bus which has seat belts and car seats for all the children. We have enjoyed a special relationship with Alden Court , participating in various "theme days" which encourage a positive interaction with our senior citizens.
